Ever have a difficult time choosing between steak, seafood, or noodles for dinner? This restaurant in Dallas' Trinity Groves has each one of those cravings satisfied.
I was invited to Winsome Prime to try out a select menu with a few featured entrees, appetizers, cocktails, and a choice of one of two desserts.
Outside of the regular menu offerings, they also have a happy hour and seasonal holiday brunches or dinners. For example, for new years, they'll have. a special steak filet on the menu.
During our visit we started off with "The Dip", which was a spinach artichoke dip topped with melty cheese and served with house-made tortilla chips. For the entree, from a selection of Hawaiian ribeye, chicken and spinach-stuffed salmon, we had the spinach-stuffed salmon. It's served over a bed of asparagus and the salmon is topped with a creamy crab sauce.
The drinks range from unique creations to classics with a spicy twist. Picks for the night included the following:
Sand to the Beach - a tropical paradise in a glass with coconut rum, peach Schnapps, pineapple juice, and lime leaf foam
My Last Two Dollars - a rollercoaster of flavors from the dark chocolate of cacao to fruity mezcal and passionfruit syrup and back to a chocolate finish
The Bee Hive - Beyonce's Sir Davis Whiskey, lemon juice, and hot honey.
If you haven't already, you might want to check it out for date night or birthday dinner or maybe to grab a drink at happy hour, which is 4--7 pm on weekdays. They even have weekend brunch on Saturday and Sunday.
