Ahead of the Pierre Cardin Young Designer Award Ceremony taking place at Hall of State in Fair Park November 20, a preview of Pierre Cardin's collection was hosted at Martini Consignment last night.

Fashions from the 1970s through the 2010s were on full display, each garment cleaned and restored. The collection is available to the public to view as of November 20.

The Pierre Cardin team, at the direction of Matthew Gonder, worked with Ken Weber to bring the collection to Dallas, specifically to Vintage Martini.

Iconic model Alva Chinn was in attendance for a meet-and-greet and will also make an appearance on the runway during the awards ceremony.

The Young Designers Award is a global competition that highlights emerging talent and hosted workshops across Dallas, San Francisco, and New York. They narrowed it down to a select few finalists for the competition.

The Young Designer Awards were established in 2022, making this the third year and Dallas debut.

The winner of the awards earns a three-month design apprenticeship in Paris with the opportunity for an extension at the end of the apprenticeship term.
