A new Southeast Asian Thai restaurant is opening next week in Plano. Called Brya Zan, it's located at 1909 Preston Road in Plano, TX, at the corner of Park and Preston.
Brya Zan comes from the creators of Malai Kitchen, Braden and Yasmin Wages. It's described as a fresh take on Southeast Asian cuisine with noodles, wok-fired dishes and Malai Kitchen’s famous house-brewed beers taking center stage
“We’ve been working on this concept quietly for years,” said co-owner Yasmin Wages. “While we perfected the operations and consistency at Malai, we were also envisioning a place where guests could enjoy their favorite dishes faster, without compromising quality or flavor. Brya Zan is the result.”
The menu features Southeast Asia’s most beloved dishes, including Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, and Pineapple Fried Rice, alongside a selection of Malai’s signature in-house brewed craft beers, iced coffees, teas, and frozen cocktails. Prices are between $11-$15.
Guests can also enjoy a signature frozen Mai Tai or sip a Malai-brewed “Thai-P-A” beer in the restaurant’s vibrant dining room.
Brya Zan’s ordering options are designed for convenience. Guests can order via the brand’s web-based ordering platform, self-service kiosks, or friendly counter staff. The restaurant also features a pickup window, making it an ideal choice for busy families and on-the-go diners. Every dish can be personalized to meet dietary restrictions and preferences, ensuring there’s something for everyone.
“Our vision was to create a space that gives guests more time for the things they love, without having to sacrifice a quality, healthy meal,” said chef/owner Braden Wages. “We’re pairing a streamlined experience with the bold flavors and hospitality we’ve built our name on.”
The restaurant’s design planned by Dallas firm, JonesBaker, draws inspiration from the vibrant street markets of Southeast Asia, featuring indoor and outdoor dining, bar seating, and a lively yet relaxed environment.
