Allen mixed-use community park, Bravo Park, makes debut

Billingsley Company rescheduled its celebration of Bravo Park at Sloan Corners in Allen from June 20 to August 1.

Located at the intersection of US 75 and SH 121 in Allen and Fairview, Sloan Corners is a 480-acre mixed-use development planned to include residential, retail, dining, office, and community spaces.

Bravo Park serves as the development’s gathering space, with trails, pickleball courts, dog parks, public art, and future community programming. The development overall is estimated to be $3 billion.

“Bravo Park reflects our vision for Sloan Corners as a place that brings people together and creates meaningful experiences for the surrounding community,” said Lucy Billingsley, Founder and Principal of Billingsley Company. “We are excited to officially welcome the community and showcase everything this development will continue to bring to Allen and Collin County.”

Additionally, the community's looking to name the park's "Reading Bear"– a green sculpture of a bear holding an open book— in partnership with the Allen Public Library. Submit your idea online through August 31 and the winning name will be revealed at a special celebration on September 12.

The celebration will take place August 1 from 11 am - 4 pm including a free community event featuring live entertainment, food trucks, giveaways, family-friendly activities, and the opportunity for one attendee to win six months of free rent at Hartwood at Sloan Corners.
